Actions

Actions define what happens when a SnapTag code is scanned.

The most common action is a Web Action, which simply directs the scanning user to a website you choose.  However SnapTag has many specialized actions as well.  Actions are one of the most exciting areas of SnapTag's feature set, and our team is always designing new capabilities here.


Types of Actions

Currently, SnapTag's Actions include the following;

Visit a website

Display a requested website in the user's mobile web browser.

Call a phone number

Automatically dial a phone number, without requiring the user to enter it manually.

Show a location, or directions to a location, from the user's current position.

Perform a custom action based on the context of the request.  Decide the best action based on the user's location, device, or preferred language,
