Phone Action

The phone action allows you to quickly dial a phone number.

Recommended Uses

  • On business cards
  • In yellow pages listings
  • Taxi stands & bus stops
  • Takeaway restaurant menus and mail-drop flyers - call to order

Technical Notes

This feature uses the dialing feature of mobile web browsers, which is very widely supported.

Behavior may vary by device, OS, browser, and scanning app used however in our tests;

iPhones immediately dial the specified number.

Android devices ask first, and then dial.
